WARNING!

Please be aware and mindful of very low water levels at Shoalstone Seawater Pool at present.

The deep end is now 1 metre so strictly no diving or jumping into the pool allowed.

Please see the depth level maker on the NW corner of the pool.

We will keep you updated as we continue to try and resolve the situation.

Facilities:

53 metre swimming pool: One of the largest tidal swimming pools in the world.
Free to use: There is no charge to use Shoalstone. You can swim, relax on the pool deck, have a picnic on the green or just sit on a bench and enjoy the views. There is no need to book. We do however rely on your donations to keep Shoalstone running and suggest a donation of £3 per swim or £8.50 for a family.
Changing cubicles: We have 9 free to use changing cubicles by the pool.
Lifeguards: Lifeguards are on duty 10 am to 5 pm during the main summer season.
Car park: We have over 40 car parking spaces available at Shoalstone. Please pay on exit at the meter before you leave.
‘Stones Throw’ Beach Bar Bistro: Make the most of our family friendly bistro overlooking the pool, serving the best locally sourced food, and also the kiosk by the sea serving snacks, drinks and takeaway food.
Toilets: Located by the car park with easy access for all.

Whether you’re a seasoned swimmer, a casual dipper, a sun worshipper, rockpooling with the kids (or big kids!) or just relaxing on the pool decks, Shoalstone Seawater Swimming Pool is a safe, free to use and enjoyable place for all.

Shoalstone Pool is open for general swimming from May to September. There is no entry charge, but we do ask for a voluntary donation of £3.00 per swim or £8.00 per family to help cover our running costs.
